La Vergne Adds Stealthier Police Cruisers
Five new police cars will better blend in with traffic.
LA VERGNE, TN — Scofflaws in La Vergne will need to add eagle eyes to their bag of no-goodnik tricks.
The La Vergne Police Department has deployed five new police cruisers which more easily blend in with workaday traffic. The Ford Police Interceptors have dual and rear radars, mobile data terminals and an upgraded HD video system, and other than the paint job and the splashy LPD logo, look like normal sedans.
“Our old fleet was dying and it was time to update,” said La Vergne Police Chief Mike Walker.
