La Vergne City Hall New Hours Begin May 1
Many City of La Vergne departments will go to a Monday through Thursday schedule, with extended hours, starting May 1.
LA VERGNE, TN — Starting May 1, La Vergne City Hall will go to a four-day-a-week schedule, closing on Fridays, but offering longer hours Monday through Thursday.
City Hall will be open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
"We believe citizens will benefit from having city hall open earlier and close later during those days," the city said in a statement.

The hours change specifically effects the Water Billing Department, Tax Department, City Court, Codes, Engineering, Planning and Stormwater. There will be no change to operating hours for Public Works, the Senior Citizen Center, the library, the water and sewer department or parks and rec.
