La Vergne Library Offers Food-For-Fines Through Thanksgiving
Bring in non-perishable food and get a buck knocked off those fines.
LA VERGNE, TN — Hang on to that copy of Harry Potter & The Cursed Child a little longer than you were supposed to? Got a couple extra cans of beans?
Until November 23, the La Vergne Library is running its Food For Fines program. Bring in undamaged, unexpired boxed or canned non-perishable food items and the library will waive up to $1 from an overdue fine for each item donated.
The library is at 5063 Murfreesboro Road.
