LA VERGNE, TN — A pleasant fall weekend is ahead, according to the National Weather Service forecast for La Vergne and Smyrna. While skies will be clear, gusty winds are expected Saturday and Sunday.
Friday night: Mostly clear, low of 58. North winds of 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, high of 77. North winds of 15 to 20 mph, gusting to 30. Clear overnight, low of 47.

Sunday: Sunny again, high of 77. North northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 20. Mostly clear in the evening, low of 48.
Columbus Day: Sunny, high of 79. Mostly clear after dark, low of 51.
