La Vergne & Smyrna Week-Ahead Weather: A Cool, But Not Cold, End to 2016
Rain chances come to northern Rutherford County for the last week of the year, before giving way to clear and cooler weather.

SMYRNA, TN — A rainy and warm start to the week will give way to more seasonal temperatures, according to the National Weather Service forecast for La Vergne and Smyrna. After a few days of solid rain chances, sunny skies return but bring cooler weather.
Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers before noon, then clearing with a high of 55. Mostly clear and colder after dark, low of 33.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny to start with a 30 percent chance of showers after noon, with a high of 56. A 50 percent chance of showers into the night, otherwise mostly cloudy with a low of 42.

Thursday: Sunny, high of 50. West northwest winds of 5 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph. Mostly clear in the evening, a low of 30.
Friday: Sunny, high of 44. A partly cloudy evening, low of 30.
