SMYRNA, TN — After a frigid Monday, slightly warmer days and largely sunny weather is ahead, according to the National Weather Service forecast for La Vergne and Smyrna. There's a slight chance of rain Wednesday night and early Thursday as Christmas travel gets underway.
Monday: Mostly sunny and still cold with a high of 34. Partly cloudy after dark, low of 20.
Tuesday: Sunny and warmer, with a high of 43. A mostly clear night with a low of 28.

Wednesday: Sunny, high of 52. A 20 percent chance of showers in the evening, otherwise mostly cloudy, a low of 39.
