LA VERGNE, TN — A wet weekend is in store, according to the National Weather Service forecast for La Vergne and Smyrna. There's at least a slight chance of storms every day, but cooler temperatures come with the rain.

Friday night: There's a 20 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms will linger from the afternoon, otherwise cloudy. Low of 69.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of rain and storms during the day with a high of 90. A better chance of storms overnight, with a 60 percent chance particularly after 1 a.m. Low of 68.

Sunday: A 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, with a high of 87. Rain clears out overnight, but clouds remain. Low of 65.
