Pair Wanted for Theft of Fitbit, GPS Gear: Police

The incident took place on Oct. 11 at the local Target, say Smyrna police.

SMYRNA, TN — The town police released surveillance photos Wednesday of two people suspected of stealing more than $1,000 worth of Fitbit and GPS equipment from the local Target store.

The theft took place on Oct. 11, the police department said on its Facebook page, where the photos are posted. They also posted a photo of a light blue, older model Toyota Corolla that the couple was driving.

Fitbit wireless devices can be worn while exercising, and they measure data such as heart rate and number of steps taken.
