Pedestrian Killed On I-24

CHRISTIANA, TN — A person was killed after being struck by a car while walking on Interstate 24 late Saturday night.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the person was hit near the Epps Mill Road exit around 10 p.m. and was in the roadway when hit.

I-24 East was shut down for nearly four hours during the investigation. No further details were immediately released.
