Phone Refurbisher Bringing 225 Jobs To La Vergne
HYLA, a company that works to refurbish mobile devices, is building a $1 million 10,000 square-foot facility on Mason Road.
LA VERGNE, TN — HYLA Mobile, a leading refurbisher of mobile devices, is bringing 225 jobs to La Vergne to staff a new $1 million, 10,000 square-foot facility on Mason Road.

Workers in La Vergne will assess the condition of devices sent to the facility, removing customer data and performing repairs on the devices, which can then be resold on the secondary market. HYLA has refurbished more 43 million devices since it began operations.

The jobs at the La Vergne facility will have an average salary of $28,000. The company received a $29,800 tax abatement from the Rutherford County Industrial Development Board.
