Semi Crash Closes Major Smyrna Intersection For 12 Hours
A van and car-hauling tractor-trailer crashed and shut down Nissan Drive and Enon Springs Road for 12 hours Tuesday into Wednesday.

SMYRNA, TN — A wreck shut down one of Smyrna's major intersections late Tuesday, causing a road closure that lasted into Wednesday morning.
Around 8 p.m. Tuesday, a van and a car-hauling semi-truck were involved in a wreck at the intersection of Nissan Drive and Enon Springs Road. Though no one was seriously injured, the vehicles careened into a utility pole, downing power lines and putting traffic signals out of commission, forcing Smyrna Police to close Nissan Drive and Enon Springs until shortly before 8 a.m..

The crash is under investigation.
