Smyrna Hotel Robbed With Box Cutter, Duct Tape
A pair of men robbed the Smyrna Hilton Garden Inn and then taped up the clerk with duct tape.

SMYRNA, TN — Two men, wielding a box cutter and a roll of duct tape, robbed a Smyrna hotel early Tuesday morning. The pair fled after taping up the clerk in a back office.
The men entered the Hilton Garden Inn just after midnight and asked the clerk about getting a room. Then one of the men pulled a box cutter and demanded cash, according to Smyrna Police. They then forced the clerk into an office and wrapped him in duct tape.
The man with the box cutter is in his 40s, about 5-feet-6-inches tall, with brown and grey hair. The second man is in his 20s or 30s , standing about 6 feet 3 inches tall with a brown goatee. He was wearing a black baseball cap.
