Smyrna Police Seek Jewel Store Thief
The Kay's on Industrial Boulevard was held up by an armed man Thursday.
SMYRNA, TN — An accused jewel store thief is on the run after a heist Thursday.
Smyrna Police say the man entered the Kay's Jewelers on Industrial Boulevard around 12:30 Thursday afternoon armed with a black revolver.
The suspect is a light-skinned black male, approximately 6 feet tall with a light goatee, a thin build, and has gold teeth. He may be in his late 20s or early 30s. He was wearing glasses, a baseball hat with unknown lettering on it, white Nike Jordan tennis shoes and a white sweatshirt with the words "LIFTED" written on it and the image of a rhinoceros.
