South Lowry Down To 2 Lanes Over Harts Branch For Bridge Project
The $2.2 million bridge replacement on South Lowry over Harts Branch begins with lane closures this weekend.

SMYRNA, TN — Work on the $2.2 million bridge upgrade project on South Lowry between Sam Ridley Parkway and Lee Victory Parkway begins this weekend, prompting some lane closures.
South Lowry will be reduced from five lanes to two on the bridge over Harts Branch and Mitchell Avenue will be closed from 8 p.m., Friday, July 21, through 5 a.m., Monday, July 24. There will be a detour in place directing traffic to use Moore Avenue. Crews will work all hours as part of the accelerated bridge construction project. It will require three additional weekend to complete. The next weekend of work is scheduled to begin July 28.

The new bridge will feature new sidewalks, new handrails, and a decorative inlay with the Smyrna town seal.
