Attorneys representing "Oust Sheriff Arnold" have filed paperwork to kick the jailed sheriff out of office.

MURFREESBORO, TN — A citizens group has filed suit seeking to oust Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold from office.
The suit claims official misconduct, fraud and corruption — all claims made by the federal government in the JailCigs corruption suit — along with neglect of office and inability to execute his duties as sheriff. Arnold is behind bars until his federal corruption trial begins in February.
Attorneys for the group "Oust Sheriff Arnold" filed the ouster suit late Thursday, according to WKRN.
