The teens ran towards the nearby greenway and after human officers established a perimeter, K9 officer Turbo and two-legged partner Jaime Scruggs began tracking the pair. At 11 a.m., Turbo apprehended Howse, who was carrying the backpack of guns and cash. Officers located White in a nearby drainage tunnel and he surrendered without incident at 11:16 a.m. Turbo then went into the tunnel and found the loaded 9 millimeter pistol used in the robbery, according to police.
White and Howse were booked into juvenile detention on a charge of aggravated robbery.
