16-Year-Old Charged With Murder In Fatal Shootings Of Two Juveniles In Nashville
Tristan Williams is being held in juvenile detention.

Homicide Unit detectives today charged Tristan Williams, 16, with two counts of criminal homicide and one count of attempted criminal homicide for the November 24th shootings of three juveniles inside a stolen pickup truck as it traveled on I-24 east near downtown.

Killed were the driver, Abdiwahab Adan, 12, and the driver’s side rear passenger, Donquez Abernathy, 14. A 14-year-old girl, the front seat passenger, was wounded. Williams, the passenger side rear passenger, also received a serious gunshot wound to his leg.
The vehicle was stolen days earlier from Cain Harbor Drive. The keys had been left inside it.

The motive for the gunfire remains under investigation.
