4 Students Injured in North Nashville School Bus Crash

Four students and the driver of an SUV were taken to the hospital after a Friday morning school bus wreck.

NASHVILLE, TN — Four students and another person suffered minor injuries when an SUV hit a Metro school bus Friday morning.

A Dodge SUV hit the school bus around 8:30 a.m. at 11th Avenue and Arthur Avenue in North Nashville. Eighteen people including the driver were on the bus. Four students were taken to The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt with minor injuries. The SUV driver was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The SUV suffered major front-end damage, while one of the front tires was nearly knocked off the bus.
