Accused Child Pornographer May Be In Nashville: FBI

A Florida teacher accused of producing child pornography may be hiding out in the Nashville area.

MIAMI, FL — FBI agents believe a south Florida teacher accused of producing child pornography may be hiding out in the Nashville area, where he has relatives and where he may have formerly worked for the Boys & Girls Clubs.

Corey Dajuan Perry, 33, was charged with production of child pornography, receipt of child pornography and enticement by federal prosecutors March 28 in West Palm Beach, Fla., near where he worked as a teacher at Watkins Elementary School in Palm Beach Gardens. The FBI is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

He was last seen March 26 and his rental car was found in Ft. Lauderdale April 7. The FBI says evidence suggests Perry left south Florida and is somewhere in the Nashville area.

The FBI says that Perry worked for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee while he was in college. BGCMT president and CEO Dan Jernigan said there is no record of Perry being an employee, though he cannot "confirm or deny" that he did work for the organization, given the amount of time that has passed.

"It could be a result that we simply do not have files that are beyond 12 years of employment," Jernigan told Patch.

Perru is 5'8" and 275 pounds. The FBI says he may now be clean-shaven or wearing a disguise.

During a raid on Perry's home March 24, "multiple electronic devices" containing images of Palm Beach School District students were found, according to police.

Perry was hired by the district in 2005. In addition to teaching, Perry coached basketball and led an after-school robotics club, according to CBS Miami.
