Officers later traced her car to an Emory Drive home, impounded the vehicle, and returned to arrest her on multiple charges, including felony reckless endangerment and aggravated assault on a police officer.
2. Investigation underway after 18-year-old critically injured following shooting in South Nashville parking lot (wsmv.com) — An 18-year-old was critically wounded in a shooting early Saturday in a South Nashville strip center parking lot at Haywood Lane and Apache Trail, and Metro police say their Homicide Unit is now leading the case. The victim, who has no known U.S. relatives, was moved between locations before being flown to Skyline in life-threatening condition, and investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
3. Nashville Greek Festival celebrates 37 years of culture, food and dancing in Music City (newschannel5.com) — Nashville's Greek Festival is in full swing this weekend at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, offering $5 admission, live cooking demos, church tours, and traditional dancing through Sunday.
