Nashville police arrest woman for 4th DUI after crash near Lower Broadway barriers injures officer (wsmv.com) — Metro Nashville police say a 29-year-old woman was arrested Saturday for her fourth DUI after allegedly trying to drive into a closed section of Lower Broadway, crashing into three vehicles, and injuring an officer near downtown barriers. Officers later traced her car to an Emory Drive home, impounded the vehicle, and returned to arrest her on multiple charges, including felony reckless endangerment and aggravated assault on a police officer.
   

2. Investigation underway after 18-year-old critically injured following shooting in South Nashville parking lot (wsmv.com) — An 18-year-old was critically wounded in a shooting early Saturday in a South Nashville strip center parking lot at Haywood Lane and Apache Trail, and Metro police say their Homicide Unit is now leading the case. The victim, who has no known U.S. relatives, was moved between locations before being flown to Skyline in life-threatening condition, and investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
   

3. Nashville Greek Festival celebrates 37 years of culture, food and dancing in Music City (newschannel5.com) — Nashville's Greek Festival is in full swing this weekend at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, offering $5 admission, live cooking demos, church tours, and traditional dancing through Sunday. Families who've attended for decades and first-timers alike are invited to explore Greek food, culture, and community, with organizers encouraging locals to share their own festival memories and story ideas.
   

4. Jeanie Ridnour Collier (jacksonsunky.com) — Family and friends are mourning Jeanie Ridnour Collier, a longtime HCA human resources professional remembered for her faith, kindness, and devotion to loved ones. A celebration of life was held at Brentwood United Methodist Church, with memorial gifts invited for the church foundation, Nashville's Alive Hospice, or Brightstone in Franklin, honoring causes that mattered deeply to her.
   

5. Advocates, families push for reform of Tennessee Department of Children's Services (wsmv.com) — Advocates and families met in Nashville to demand reforms to Tennessee's Department of Children's Services, sharing stories of long, confusing CPS cases and limited legal help.
