Baby Girl Delivered By C-Section After Mom Was Shot Died On Wednesday

Sadly, the baby girl delivered by Caesarean section after her mother was critically shot on the night of April 28th died today. Her mother, Laquisha Terrell, 23, died Tuesday from complications of gunshot wounds to her chest, abdomen and legs.

Terrell’s ex-boyfriend, Brian T. Mitchell, 23, is jailed on one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder. The attempted murder charge in relation to the child will be upgraded.

Terrell’s boyfriend, Michael Stewart, 28, was wounded during the gunfire at Cedar Pointe Apartments in Antioch. He is now recovering at home.
