BIO:
Using his experiences growing up in Newark, Bill Bellamy started doing stand-up&nbsp;while he was a student at Rutgers University. Bellamy quickly discovered how&nbsp;much he enjoyed making people laugh, and began honing his skills at small&nbsp;comedy clubs around the country and was soon making waves in the New York&nbsp;clubs like The Improv, The Comic Strip, and at The Comedy Store in Los&nbsp;Angeles.&nbsp;
Two short years later, Bellamy earned a spot on HBO’s DEF COMEDY JAM where he notoriously coined the phrase “Booty Call.” The now famous late-night rendez-vous moniker became the name for his first comedy special for Showtime; “Booty Call” and it was instantly one of the network’s top-rated specials. On the heels of the success of that special, and in the years following, Bellamy became a staple on MTV as one of the first “VJs” on the network. He hosted several of their programming blocks, including MTV JAMS and MTV BEACH HOUSE, while interviewing everyone from the late Kurt Cobain to Janet Jackson. In 1996, Bill landed his own series, “The Billy Bellamy Show.” Bellamy also continued to star on the big screen in addition to garnering coveted guest roles in several prominent television series. In the feature world, Bellamy starred in LOVE JONES, HOW TO BE A PLAYER, LOVE STINKS, THE BROTHERS, and ANY GIVEN SUNDAY. At the same time, showcasing his mutli- hyphenate talents, Bellamy continued to hone his comedy and stand-up prowess. He debuted his second comedy special, CRAZY SEXY DIRTY in May 2012, it was one of the highest rated comedy specials of their respective years on Showtime.
 Bill has appeared on recurring episodes of Tyler Perry’s MEET THE BROWNS on TBS and has also guest-starred on ABC’s CASTLE, USA’s ROYAL PAINS, USA’s WHITE COLLAR &amp; TNT’s MURDER IN THE FIRST. Previously, Bill hosted four seasons of the TV One comedy competition show WHO’S GOT JOKES? and two seasons of NBC’s Emmy Nominated LAST COMIC STANDING.&nbsp;

Infrared Photography -&nbsp;Infrared photography is a specialized genre that&nbsp;involves capturing&nbsp;images using the normally-invisible infrared portion&nbsp;of the&nbsp;electromagnetic spectrum.&nbsp; Traditionally used in landscapes, IR&nbsp;photos&nbsp;are characterized by their deep contrasty look because of how&nbsp;foliage&nbsp;and vegetation reflect IR light appearing very bright compared&nbsp;to water&nbsp;and sky that absorb IR light appearing very dark. &nbsp;Contrary to&nbsp;popular&nbsp;belief, a specially modified digital camera is not necessary to&nbsp;get&nbsp;started in IR photography.&nbsp; Anyone can experiment using a simple&nbsp;IR&nbsp;filter attached to the end of a lens, which is how Chris’s IR&nbsp;journey&nbsp;began in 2021.&nbsp; Since then, he’s learned a great deal about&nbsp;filters,&nbsp;camera bodies, lenses, and post-processing and will present his&nbsp;lessons&nbsp;learned to help those interested get their start in this&nbsp;fascinating&nbsp;genre.

The Iron Maidens Heavy Metal Formed in 2001, The Iron Maidens have quickly established themselves as one of southern California’s most popular tribute acts and are rapidly gaining international recognition. The band boasts beauty as well as excellent musicianship, lively stage presence, and a remarkable stage show with theatrical scenes interspersed throughout.
First and foremost on the agenda of The Iron Maidens is talent. These women are highly trained professionals with diversified musical backgrounds ranging from orchestral and musical theater to blues and rock. The band and its members have been the recipients of many awards including best tribute band, and best in category (guitar, bass, drums, voice) at events such as The Rock City News Awards, The LA Music Awards, and The All Access Magazine Award Show to name a few. The line-up is Kirsten “Bruce Chickinson” Rosenberg on vocals, Linda “Nikki McBURRain” McDonald on drums, and Nikki “Davina Murray” Stringfield on guitars, and Wanda “Steph Harris” Ortiz on bass.

Sing, dance, and play as a family at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum the second Saturday of each month. Designed for families with children 5 years old and younger, Fam Jam is a participatory music-making experience, led by Museum educators and a guest artist, that introduces young children to country music instruments and encourages child development through moving, singing, and listening. This session will spotlight the mandolin and feature Amberly Rosen, who enjoys bridging the gaps between classical, free improv, country, and folk music on violin, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar. She has performed with a diverse group of artists, including Gloria Estefan, the Rosen Sisters, and Paul Simon in venues such as the Grand Ole Opry and on The Late Show with David Letterman. Family music-making promotes language acquisition and the development of cognitive, social, and motor skills—and it’s fun! Ages 0–5. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Come to our Block Party! Hand–ink and print on paper and fabric using some of Nashville’s most recognizable imagery, cut into printing blocks by the designers at Hatch Show Print. As one of the oldest poster and design shops in America, we’re still printing show posters for your favorite musicians, bands, and performers, one at a time, via letterpress printing. At the Block Party, adults work with a selection of hand-carved printing blocks and become familiar with the process of relief printing. Instructors will cover the basics of composing an image, with consideration given to creating layers and using color. You will learn how we sling the ink, roll the brayers, and design like it’s 1879, making each piece by hand. (Don’t worry, we’re there and happy to help.) The final reveal is a “Wow!” moment.
Cost: $75.
No experience necessary. All materials are provided, including a blank tea towel or tote bag, but you may bring your own T-shirt or other clean, washable item on which to print. This program is open to people 18 years of age or older. Space is limited to 12 adults.

Pepsi Eats Fest Nashville is taking over Bringle's Smoking Oasis on Saturday, July 11, bringing foodies a free one-day celebration of one of the city's favorite barbecue destinations. Guests can enjoy a FREE event-exclusive Pig Roast Sandwich for the first 100 attendees, complimentary brisket and street corn cups and sausage flights while supplies last, Pepsi-inspired cocktails, live performance by Americana and heartland rock band Jason Scott &amp; The High Heat and more. The event is one way Pepsi supports local restaurants through its Local Eats Deserve Pepsi platform, which provides restaurants with resources behind the scenes while encouraging diners to discover more neighborhood favorites. Bringle's Smoking Oasis is among the more than 75,000 local restaurants Pepsi has supported nationwide since launching the program in 2024.

Commemorating America’s 250th birthday, this all-star evening explores songs of protest, patriotism and the pursuit of freedom from Broadway musicals including Hamilton, Les Misérables, Spring Awakening, Ragtime, Hair, Suffs and more. Performed by acclaimed artists from New York City and Nashville, the concert takes audiences on a musical journey through the people, pivotal moments and enduring ideals that shaped our nation’s history.&nbsp;Returning series host Rachel Potter (The Addams Family, Evita, Wicked national tour) is joined by Justin Sargent (Hamilton national tour, Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ Superstar), DeeJay Young (Hamilton on Broadway &amp; national tour), Diana DeGarmo (Hair, Hairspray), Stephanie Umoh (Hamilton, Ragtime, Falsettos), MORGXN (Spring Awakening) and Omar Cardona (The Voice).
