Charlotte Avenue McDonald's Shooting Critically Injures 1

An argument at a West Nashville McDonald's sent one man to the hospital and another on the lam.

NASHVILLE, TN — A Monday afternoon shooting at a McDonald's near Sylvan Park critically injured one man with the alleged shooter fleeing the scene.

Metro Police responded to a shots-fired call at the McDonald's at 47th and Charlotte just after 4 p.m. Monday and found the male victim critically wounded. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The shooter was not on the scene, though witnesses told investigators he ran towards the Richland Park Branch Library across Charlotte Avenue.

Witnesses told police the men were arguing in the restaurant and continued to do so in the parking lot, culminating in gunfire.
