City Of Nashville: Homicide Unit Detectives Investigating Wednesday Night's Fatal Shooting On 10th Avenue North

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating Wednesday’s 9 p.m. fatal shooting of Johnny Fox, 53, in the 1800 block of 10th Avenue North.

Responding officers located Fox lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. Fox, of 14th Avenue North, was transported to Vanderbilt where he was pronounced deceased. Several persons were in the area at the time of the shooting but left prior to police arrival.

Anyone with information about the murder of Johnny Fox is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
