Cocaine, Guns Seized In North Nashville Raid: Police
Two men were arrested after police found cocaine and guns in a 24th Avenue home.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police seized 45 grams of cocaine, a half dozen guns, ammunition and thousands of dollars in cash from a North Nashville home, arresting two men.
Acting on a tip, officers executed a search warrant on a home on 24th Avenue North Thursday.

Police said four sets of digital scales, loose ammo, several small bags of cocaine and three guns were hidden under a couch in the living room with more cocaine, guns and ammunition hidden in the home's two bedrooms.
Thomas Jones, 26, and Tarvarius McDowell, 23, were taken into custody, charged with multiple drug and gun offenses. Jones is jailed in lieu of $75,000 bond. McDowell is being held in lieu of $55,000 bond.
