Medical Issue May Be Related to Death of Man After Crash on Magnolia Boulevard
The man who died this afternoon after his 2016 Toyota Sienna minivan ran off Magnolia Boulevard near Wedgewood Avenue and struck a concrete junction box may have suffered a medical event.

Ernest Henegar, 79, of Bartlett, Tennessee, died shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Henegar was traveling north on Magnolia Boulevard at a low rate of speed when he ran off the roadway at 1 p.m. The impact with the concrete box did not appear to be overly significant. There was no evidence of alcohol or drug involvement.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
