There are 1855 registered sex offenders in Davidson County, with 163 in state custody.

NASHVILLE, TN — Before kids go trick or treating on Halloween, October is a good time to take stock of who is living nearby. Davidson County has 1855 registered sex offenders listed on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry.
Because Nashville is home to three of the state's largest prisons — Riverbend and Lois Deberry on Cockrill Bend and the Tennessee Prison for Women across the Cumberland River in Bordeaux — a significant number of Davidson County registrants are incarcerated by the state, with 163 at one of the three facilities, according to the state.
