Detectives Pursuing Leads In Shooting In Home Depot Parking Lot In Midtown Mills

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives are pursuing leads in Tuesday’s 9:20 p.m. apparent targeted shooting of an 18-year-old in the parking lot of Home Depot, 2535 Powell Avenue.

The victim, who had just gotten off work from Home Depot, was walking to his vehicle when the driver/sole occupant of a red 4-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Versa, drove up and fired shots at him. The teen was struck twice. He was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim has reportedly been involved in an ongoing dispute with another teen, the aspect of which is part of the investigation.

The suspect wore all black clothing including a black ski mask.
