Dolly Parton Plans Nashville Telethon for Wildfire Victims
Dolly Parton's December 13 telethon will benefit victims of the deadly fires in her native Sevier County.

NASHVILLE, TN — Country music legend Dolly Parton announced Saturday that she'll host a telethon in Nashville to benefit the victims of the vicious wildfires that ravaged her native Sevier County, killing at least 13 people.
Few details about the event have been announced, but it will take place December 13 and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the victims.
Parton already announced her Dollywood Foundation will provide $1,000 per month for up to six months to families who lost their homes in the fires that tore through Gatlinburg and the surrounding area.
