Domestic Violence Victim Critically Injured In October Dies

Maria Flor Salvador, 41, critically stabbed October 19th in an apparent case of extreme domestic violence at her Wildgrove Drive residence, died today at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Salvador’s husband, Eric Lopez, 53, was hospitalized the same day due to self-inflicted stab wounds to his abdomen, has been jailed since October 21st on multiple charges, including the attempted murder of his wife. His bond is set at $951,000. The attempted murder charge is expected to be amended to criminal homicide in the near future.
