Driver Charged After Woman Dies More Than A Month After Wrong-Way Briley Wreck
The driver in a wrong-way crash on Briley Parkway June 30 was charged with vehicular homicide Tuesday after a woman died from her injuries.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police charged a 58-year-old man who hit another car while driving the wrong way on Briley Parkway June 30 with vehicular homicide and vehicular assault after a woman involved in the wreck died from her injuries.
Investigators say Ronald Harris was going the wrong way on Briley near Eaton's Creek Road, hitting another vehicle head-on around 9:45 p.m., injuring two people in the other car. Harris and the other two were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where the woman died Monday, more than a month after the wreck. The other person is still recovering from his injuries.

Police say they found an empty bottle of Jack Daniel's in Harris' car and he had a blood-alcohol level of .225 percent, nearly three times the legal limit.
Harris was booked Tuesday and is being held on a $60,000 bond.
