Drone Pilot Arrested After CMA Fest, Preds Party Flyover
A 53-year-old man was charged with reckless endangerment after he flew a video-equipped drone over Nissan Stadium and Lower Broad.

NASHVILLE, TN — A 53-year-old Goodlettsville man is charged with reckless endangerment after piloting his drone over the CMA Fest concert at Nissan Stadium and the Nashville Predators Stanley Cup Final Game 6 watch party on Lower Broad Sunday, according to police.
Morris B. Haddox stands accused of flying his video-camera-equipped drone over the crowds. A Metro Police helicopter pilot saw the drone around 7:40 p.m. and monitored it until it landed at a Nashville Fire Department parking lot at Fifth Street and Fatherland in East Nashville. The helicopter pilot saw a man put the drone into an Acura and drive off, according to a police report. Patrol officers stopped the car and cited Haddox with reckless endangerment because he did not maintain a line of sight with his drone. Later, a Nissan Stadium official filed a trespassing charge against Haddox, as well.
