The Nashville man killed Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in a single-vehicle crash at the I-24/I-40 split in Hermitage is identified as Raymond Lejeune, 57.

The preliminary investigation shows that Lejeune was driving a 2020 Freightliner tanker truck on I-24 west when he attempted to negotiate the curve from I-24 onto I-40 east and traveled off the roadway. The truck collided with a rock wall and rolled over. Lejeune, who was wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.

There was no evidence of alcohol or drug involvement at the scene.
