Famed Husk Restaurant in Nashville Closed Indefinitely After Fire
FIrefighters responded twice to the popular Rutledge Hill restaurant.
NASHVILLE, TN — An early-morning fire caused "major damage" at acclaimed restaurant Husk, the Nashville outpost of James Beard Award-finalist chef Sean Brock and the restaurant will be closed indefinitely.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire at the Rutledge Street restaurant, first reported around 12:30 a.m.. Crews were able to extinguish that fire, but a call came in that the fire had rekindled just after 5 a.m. due to hot embers on the roof.
No one was hurt in the fire.

The restaurant is located at one of the oldest still-extant homes in the downtown area, built between 1879 and 1882 and the home of mayor Richard Houston Dudley when he was elected in the 1890s.
