Florida Man Busted At Bonnaroo With Backpack Full Of Drugs: Police

A Florida man had cocaine and Molly hidden inside a water bottle with a false bottom at Bonnaroo, according to law enforcement.

MANCHESTER, TN — Coffee County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Florida man at Bonnaroo they said was carrying more than $10,000 in cocaine and Molly in his backpack, hiding the drugs under a false bottom in a water bottle.

Michael Lauren Clark, 36, of The Villages, Fla., walked into the music festival in rural Coffee County carrying a backpack. Security asked for and received consent to search Clark's satchel. Inside, they found 25 grams of what appeared to be cocaine and just under one gram of Molly, all inside forty-nine baggies hidden inside a water bottle with a false bottom, according to the sheriff's department. The department said when security found the drugs Clark tried to wrest the backpack away from them.

He was arrested and charged with manufacturing, delivering, selling and possession of a controlled substance and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
