Germantown Road Rage Shooting Injures 1

A driver was hurt by shattered glass when a road rage encounter in Germantown escalated into gunfire.

NASHVILLE, TN — An early morning shooting, stemming from an apparent road rage incident, injured one person in Germantown Wednesday.

Around midnight, a Metro Police officer heard gunshots near Third Avenue and Jefferson Street. The officer then spotted an SUV with its back windshield shot out. The occupants of the SUV said someone in what was possibly a black Chevrolet Impala shot at them after a road rage incident.

The driver of the SUV was treated for injuries connected to shattered glass. The shooter remains at large.
