Goodlettsville Little League to Open World Series Pursuit Thursday
Southeast Regional champs begin quest for title against Oregon team

The Southeast regional champion Goodlettsville All-Stars will open their Little League World Series pursuit Thursday night.
Goodlettsville, which won the U.S. side of the bracket in the 2012 tournament, will face off against Northwest champs Bend North (Ore.) in a scheduled 6 p.m. Central start from Lamade Stadium in South Williamsport, Penn. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
The winner of Thursday night's game will play Sunday at 2 p.m. against the winner of Maine-Endwell (N.Y.) and Warwick North (R.I.). The loser Thursday plays Saturday at 2 against the loser of the New York-Rhode Island game.
