Gun Found At Pearl-Cohn High; Student Charged

A 15-year-old was charged after a .25 caliber pistol was found hidden under Pearl-Cohn's bleachers.

NASHVILLE, TN — A Pearl-Cohn High School sophomore was charged Monday with bringing a gun to school.

Maintenance crews discovered an unloaded .25 caliber pistol wrapped in a towel hidden under the bleachers at the Firebirds' football field. School personnel reviewing surveillance footage were able to identify the 15-year-old student who placed it there.

The teen said he took the gun from a fellow student who had hidden it in an alley.
