Heroin, Cocaine, Pot, Cash, Gun Found In 19-Year-Old's Closet: Police

Metro Police say a half-pound of drugs, a .32 caliber handgun and more than $1,500 in cash were hidden in a 19-year-old's closet.

NASHVILLE, TN — A 19-year-old is facing a handful of felony counts after detectives discovered drugs, guns and cash in his bedroom closet, according to Metro Police.

Officers serving a warrant on the Arthur Avenue home of 19-year-old Robert Archibald say they found 247 grams of marijuana, 8.5 grams of heroin and 20 grams of cocaine hidden at the top of his bedroom closet. Archibald allegedly told police about the drugs when they arrived with the warrant.

Police also say they recovered a .32-caliber handgun — Archibald is a convicted felon — and $1,525 in cash.

Archibald is charged with three counts of possession with intent, possession of a handgun by a dangerous felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
