Hit And Run Vehicle In Friday's Fatal Collision In Nashville Determined To Be A White Chevy Impala

Fatal crash investigators have determined that a white Chevrolet Impala is responsible for Friday evening’s hit and run crash on Westchester Drive at Devonshire Drive that claimed the life of a 72-year-old man in a wheelchair.

The victim, who lived in the area, was heading southwest on Westchester Drive in his wheelchair on the right side of the roadway (no sidewalk present) at approximately 5:15 p.m. Friday when he was struck from behind by the Impala. The car will have resulting damage on the front passenger side and possibly the windshield.
