Investigators Working To ID Hit And Run Drivers Who Fatally Injured Pedestrian On Dickerson Pike

The public’s assistance is being sought in identifying the drivers of two hit and run vehicles involved in Tuesday night’s fatal collision on Dickerson Pike near Hart Lane which claimed the life of a pedestrian, Reginald Christian, 36, of Nashville.

The preliminary investigation shows that, for reasons unknown, Christian was standing in the far left lane of Dickerson Pike when he was struck by three southbound vehicles, two of which fled the scene.
According to witnesses, the hit and run vehicles were a dark-colored Chevrolet Camaro with racing stripes and a white Ford Taurus. The third driver involved stayed at the scene and showed no signs of alcohol or drug impairment. This fatal crash occurred outside of a crosswalk.
