Know A Good-Looking Spruce? City Seeks Christmas Tree

The Parks Department is on the lookout for the perfect tree for the festive season.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Parks needs a tree.

The department is on the lookout for a 30- to 40-foot Norway spruce which "looks good from all angles" to serve as the city's Christmas tree. The Parks Department will cut down the tree, remove the stump and, if necessary, plant a replacement tree.

If you have a tree in mind, call Randall Lantz at 615-862-8400 or e-mail him at Randall.Lantz@nashville.gov.
