Machete And Bat Used To Threaten Teens: Nashville Police
A school resource officer intervened when he saw a man menacing some teens with a machete and baseball bat.

NASHVILLE, TN — A passing school resource officer intervened and diffused a harrowing situation on 40th Avenue North. The officer said he was driving past a market and saw a man threatening a group of teenagers.
The man was allegedly menacing the teens with a machete and baseball bat.

It's not yet clear what started the incident, but the man did crush one of the teenagers' cell phone as he attempted to call 911.
The man is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
