Man Fatally Shot Overnight While Dropping Off A Female Friend On Delta Avenue In Nashville

The man murdered at 1:25 a.m. today in the 1500 block of Delta Avenue after a gunman (men) opened fire on his vehicle is identified as Isaac Davis, 48, of 2nd Avenue South.

The investigation shows that Davis was dropping off a female friend outside her residence when shots rang out. Davis suffered a head wound and died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His friend suffered a non-life threatening leg wound.

North Precinct detectives are pursuing leads. Anyone with information about the murder of Isaac Davis is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
