Man Killed In Shooting South Of Downtown Nashville
A 20-year-old man died after he was shot walking near the Tony Sudekum Apartments Monday afternoon.
NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police said a 20-year-old man died after he was shot walking near the Tony Sudekum Apartments south of downtown Nashville Monday evening.
Kuyvonta Cain, also known as Kuyvonta Nabaa, was walking with a female friend and was approached by two unidentified men, police said. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)
Cain and the men traded gunfire and Cain was hit. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
