Man Sought For Thursday Night Murder On Tanglewood Court

Kardeceo Dardy, 20, is wanted for Thursday night’s murder of Jamaal Zakiya, 23, who was fatally shot at 6:30 p.m. inside Zakiya’s Tanglewood Court apartment.

The investigation shows that the two men, who are acquaintances, had argued over money throughout the day. The fight reportedly escalated when Zakiya would not drive Dardy home until Zakiya received gas money.

An arrest warrant has been issued charging Dardy with criminal homicide. Anyone seeing him or knowing his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
