Man Spends Night In Nashville Movie Theatre, Robs Manager

South Precinct detectives and officers throughout the city are on the lookout for the man who robbed the manager of a Bell Road movie theatre of the company’s cash and her 2015 black Kia Forte at 11:15 a.m. today.

The 23-year-old victim reported that she was preparing to open the AMC Theatre at 901 Bell Road when the robber came up from behind her armed with a gun. He demanded that she take him to the money, which he took, along with the victim’s cell phone and the keys to her Kia. He fled the property in her vehicle, which bears Tennessee license plate number 1M53P4.

Surveillance video shows that the robber paid for a movie ticket last evening. It appears likely that he remained in the building overnight and did not leave until after today’s robbery.
