Man Wanted For Questioning In Incident Where Woman Was Grabbed From Behind On Grand Avenue
Surveillance video of the suspect has been released.

Sex Crimes detectives are working to identify a man wanted for questioning in relation to an April 3rd incident in which a 22-year-old female Vanderbilt student was grabbed from behind on Grand Avenue near 19th Avenue South.

The victim was walking east on Grand Avenue at 9:15 p.m. when the suspect began calling out to her to “come here” and “I want to talk to you”. She continued walking. The man then reportedly ran up to her, wrapped his arms around her, and lifted her into the air. She managed to free herself, ran away, and called police.
After a canvass of the area, detectives located the attached surveillance video of the man wanted for questioning. He is tall with a thin build and appears to be in his 20s. He wore a dark t-shirt which appears to have a Chicago Blackhawks logo on the front.
