Mario Murray Arrested In September 2020 Nashville Murder Case
Murray is alleged to have shot Tony Terrell Bonds, 44, in the head before running him over with his car in Edgehill.

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives, with assistance from TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) members this afternoon charged Mario Deshon Murray on a first-degree murder indictment for last September’s shooting of Tony Terrell Bonds, 44, in the 1100 block of Horton Avenue in Edgehill.

A lengthy investigation led by Detective Christopher Stevick led to the identification of Murray, 33, as the suspect in the case.
Murray is alleged to have shot Bonds in the head during a brief physical altercation just after midnight on September 5, 2020, before running over him with a car.

Murray was taken into custody without incident at a market off I-24 north of downtown. The Davidson County Grand Jury indicted him this week.
